Joe Kilgore, Chief Executive Officer

Joe, CEO of R1 America, has been in the commercial development arena for over 35 years. Realty 1 Richmond Headquarters, RCON 1, and R1 Interiors are now subsidiaries of R1 America. These entities have successfully completed over three million square feet of commercial developments. Our portfolio includes retail, restaurants, office buildings, medical, large industrial and commercial projects. Very simply, our vision is to transform business via real estate. We accomplish this by providing our tenants with all the tools necessary to be successful in the communities we develop.

Dillon Kilgore, Chief Financial Officer 

Dillon joined forces alongside his father and now participates in the growth and development of R1 America. Dillon’s main objective is to maintain a challenging position in commercial development that allows him to utilize his skills and knowledge to contribute towards the growth and success of R1 America. Every day is a new way to learn and adapt within the commercial development world. With a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in business management and finance, Dillon now serves in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer for R1 America.

Mohammad Muhawesh, Chief Investment Officer 

Mr. Muhawesh joined R1 America in 2026 as Chief Investment Officer and partner in commercial land development. With more than 35 years of local and international experience across North America and the Middle East, he brings extensive expertise in consumer finance, hospitality, home remodeling, heavy construction equipment, and automotive leasing.

At R1 America, Mr. Muhawesh leads investment strategy and investor relations while overseeing portfolio diversification, market analysis, partnerships, and the execution of investment opportunities. He focuses on aligning investments with investor objectives while identifying opportunities for long-term growth.

Craig Guidry, Director of Brokerage Services 

Craig is a commercial real estate leader focused on delivering strategic value beyond traditional brokerage. With the support of Berkshire Hathaway Commercial Real Estate, he combines market intelligence, rigorous analysis, and a developer’s perspective to identify high-growth opportunities and structure deals that enhance long-term asset performance.
